From Mexico, representatives from the universities of Guanajuato and Puebla were present, as well as from Bishop&#8217;s University in Canada.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">Guillermo Pulido, director of the UNAM-Chicago campus, emphasized that universities play a crucial role in generating solutions at both local and global levels, employing multidisciplinary approaches to address migration issues, particularly those affecting Indigenous peoples.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap break-words\">Marylinn Lynn Miranda, president of UIC, expressed her satisfaction with the tri-national academic meeting. She noted that the event provided a platform for leading scholars and researchers to analyze one of the most complex issues of our time: migration.
