UNAM-Canada Launches Campaign to Boost International Exchange

Representatives from UNAM Canada visited more than 20 departments and research centers at the main Mexico City campus to promote student exchange programs and boost international initiatives.

The team met with over 1,200 students and faculty members to showcase international opportunities on the Canadian campus, including intensive English and French language programs designed to support UNAM’s global academic mobility framework.

During their visit, representatives showcased UNAM Canada’s English and French immersion programs. Their main goal was to help students understand the university’s international exchange process, making it easier for them to access study-abroad opportunities.

Along with student presentations, the visiting team met with various UNAM departments to discuss possible collaborations with Canadian institutions. The meetings focused on building new academic partnerships that would benefit the campus community and expand UNAM’s global connections.

The sessions highlighted key offerings like the International Degree Completion Program and study abroad scholarships designed to help UNAM students gain international experience. These programs support students’ academic and professional development while advancing the university’s mission of providing global opportunities.
