TATIANA KLIMOVA RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR EXCELLENCE
The researcher from UNAM’s Faculty of Chemistry began her project eight years ago, developing various catalysts that transform molecules obtained from biomass into biofuels usable in conventional gasoline or diesel engines.
These new biofuels are renewable and sustainable, offering an alternative to fossil fuels.
Her research project at UNAM, focusing on nanostructured catalysts for the production of renewable and sustainable fuels from biomass, is inspired by the need to address pollution problems, as Klimova is concerned about the impact on future generations.
