Visit from the President of Guatemala’s UMG

The Guatemalan delegates met with Francisco Suárez Güemes, UNAM’s Director General of International Cooperation. During the meeting, they highlighted the joint activities carried out in recent years, including:

1. Three Legal Research Conferences held in collaboration with UNAM’s Faculty of Law in 2022, 2023, and 2024. These conferences brought together groups of students and professors from UMG and UNAM to analyze topics of mutual interest.
2. Academic programs featuring short-term stays coordinated by UNAM’s School of Accounting and the Postgraduate Program in Dentistry.
3. Student mobility initiatives supported by UNAM’s Faculty of Architecture.

These collaborative efforts underscore the two universities’ growing partnership and commitment to fostering international academic exchange.
