Puma Summer in Paris: French Language and Culture at the Sorbonne

UNAM-France, in partnership with the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the Sorbonne, has announced the fourth edition of Puma Summer, an intensive French language and cultural immersion program taking place in Paris from July 7 to 25, 2025.

Designed for students eager to improve their French proficiency while immersing themselves in the vibrant cultural life of Paris, the program includes 54 hours of instruction led by specialists from SIAL, the Sorbonne’s language learning service (Service d’Innovation pour l’Apprentissage des Langues). The curriculum combines classroom learning with real-world experiences to deepen students’ linguistic and cultural understanding.

This initiative highlights the strong academic partnership between UNAM and the Sorbonne, which has fostered numerous exchanges, cultural collaborations, and summer programs. SIAL faculty and UNAM-France staff will guide participants through three of Paris’s most iconic neighborhoods.

Beyond language instruction, Puma Summer offers an immersive exploration of French culture—from its rich history and cuisine to its enduring traditions. By blending structured lessons with cultural excursions, the program provides a well-rounded educational experience that enriches students academically and personally.

Puma Summer in Paris reinforces UNAM’s commitment to broadening its global impact and offering students exceptional international learning experiences.
